A wise man once said, “I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me-like food or water.” Ray Charles surely understood the power of music on a personal level, and if he was still alive in the age of Spotify and Pandora and working at a desk, he would probably also understand that the music often makes the office. At my company, 20K Group, music makes our world go ’round. If you popped in unannounced, you’d likely find us at our desks, headphones in ears and bopping along to whatever aural selection suits the moment. More embarrassingly, you might also find us having an impromptu dance party. The incredible Sean Stephenson even inspired a Monday Blues-busting dance break to which we invited our Facebook and Twitter followers. We work hard and long hours, but we also know how to have fun. By sharing those silly moments, we gave our clients, prospects and potential employees a peek behind the curtain and into our collective mojo. For the full post, head over to The Sassy Six.
